What is a GS1 Digital Link?
A GS1 Digital Link is a web URI that encodes GS1 Application Identifiers—such as GTIN (AI 01) and lot code (AI 10)—so a single printed 2D barcode can identify a product and batch and resolve to online content.
How is OriginQR different from a static QR code?
A static QR code encodes a fixed destination. OriginQR issues GS1 Digital Links that resolve through a cloud service, so brands can update destinations, lot status, and related product data without reprinting packaging.
What does OriginQR cost?
Four monthly USD plans: Micro $10 (1–5 products), Small $20 (6–10 products), Starter $29 (11–25 products), and Pro $99 (unlimited products). Every account starts with a 7-day free trial limited to 1 product; a payment card is required at signup.
Does OriginQR support lot tracking and recall flagging?
Yes. Brands store lots under each GTIN product with lot codes, expiration dates, and optional compliance fields. Lots can be marked recalled with a reason and optional consumer message; status changes are written to an audit history.
What are FDA FSMA compliance fields in OriginQR?
Lots may include optional flexible key/value fields aligned with FDA FSMA Food Traceability Rule concepts (for example traceability lot code, product description, location description). Brands remain responsible for their own regulatory compliance; OriginQR is a software tool, not a compliance guarantee.
